Celebrate the Wins - #WritingPromptWednesdays

For this week’s #WritingPrompt, I’m suggesting you start a daily journal if you haven’t already. In that daily journal, I’d like for you to write at least one, hopefully many, wins each day.

A win could be something as simple as I got out of bed today, or I got up 15 mins earlier so I could write, or meditate, or do yoga stretches.

A win can be anything that warms your heart - eliciting a smile from a co-worker who is normally very grumpy, playing with your dog in the evening, or driving in the car with your favourite tunes on bust.

Your life ~ Your wins.

The point here is to record them at the end of the day, and read back over them each morning. Doing so will give you a boost, and will help you to focus your attention on what makes you feel good rather than focusing on your flaws and whatever you need to do to improve.

Where focus goes, energy flows.

Your wins can also be big things, but don’t forget the small ones. They really do count and they really do add up.

Here are a few of my recent wins:

~ I ate really well this week

~ I’ve done yoga stretches 4 mornings in a row

~ I listened to some favourite music this morning

~ I painted yesterday

~ I’ve created digital content aligning with my business for 73 days in a row.
