"Pathway Home"

The shadows make me curious instead of afraid. I think I've always had an exploratory nature especially as a child. These days when I approach a painting, I try to reconnect with that curious little girl. There are so many treasures left unopened inside of her.
 
Most of us are in a hurry to grow up. In doing that, we often skip over some of the most important aspects of our personality - wonderment, curiosity, imagination, playfulness; etc. Creating this piece took me a little further down the path to that little girl in me. That's why I've chosen the name "Pathway Home".
