Happy Holidays

This year we’re back in Newfoundland to celebrate the holidays with my side of our family. After spending the past two Christmas seasons in Norway with my husband’s side of the family, which was lovely I might add, it’s a great feeling to be back home again. I guess everyone likes to be home for Christmas.

I woke up this morning feeling very content. My sister and partner arrived at the old homestead last night (Tibb’s Eve… google it if you’re not from Nfld), and our guests from the UK are spending the holidays with us, so all beds were full this morning when I woke. Such a nice feeling. It really is the small things that count.

Christmas is about connection for me, especially if there are no little ones around. It’s about making and sharing food, visiting and having visitors, chatting and singing songs, remembering old times and planning new ones.

As you look forward to 2020, and mentally make your list of resolutions, try to spend a little time reflecting on all you’ve accomplished this past year. I believe it’s very important to focus on achievements – even if somedays your biggest achievement might have simply been waking up again. There is always something to be grateful for. :-)

With each experience, and with each year of life, we learn more and more about ourselves and the things that matter most. Step into 2020 fully confident that you already have everything you need to transform your life. Use all you’ve learned to consciously create the kind of life you want. The wisdom, the innate know-how required to grow and expand, is resting in your intuition. It’s there, waiting for you to tap into it and use it to become who you are meant to become.

From our house to yours, we wish you joy, peace, health and prosperity during this holiday season and throughout the New Year. Take care of yourself and others. I’ll be in touch again shortly after we kick into the new decade.... how exciting to be alive at this time!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
